I want to live in a magical, glittering forest with unicorns, rainbows, lipstick and ruby slippers.
Jessie Tondreau hails the Philadelphia suburbs. From drawing as a child, to painting as an adult, and even selling art on cruise ships, art has been a part of her entire life.
One of her favorite things is the evolution of artistic creation: the process from blank, stark nothingness, to the development, and sometimes surprise, of a piece of art blossoming with every flick of the wrist and stroke of the brush.
I don't like to say "I'm an artist". There's nothing wrong with being an artist, however, claiming to be one implies that I'm some sort of extremely talented person, with some profound insight into the realm of philosophy and feelings.
So instead I will say "I love to create art and I always have".
